Buy British or at least British sold, if not manufactured. It is rapidly becoming a bad joke. Four phone calls, spaced at two hour intervals, starting at 08:15 before BMW Battersea can be arsed to call me back. One mail and a payment to India and 24 hours later and the item is sitting 500 yards down the road for pre-agreed collection.

Nearly as bad is the wait for so called customs clearance if you order from the EU.

Just ordered another for 450.

Fits straight on in 5 minutes . Identical to Denali Mini Soundbomb but cheaper.

These heated grips were fitted to my Mk1 Himmie and I fitted them to the NTV. They worked fine. :thumb2

I see that CooperB are beginning to stock accessories for the 450 too.

CooperB fitted Daytona heated grips to my Mark One Himalayan.

Excellent heating properties and stood up very well in last October’s torrential Highland rain

I just messaged Raju Lax in India to see if he's supplying parts & accessories for the new 450.
He is, so feel free to contact him for anything you need.

[email protected]

I've used Raju for parts and accessories for my Interceptor and he's top notch and 100% trustworthy on everything to do with Royal Enfield.

Seconded. Very efficient an an honest seller. Well thought of in the UK RE community.

Yes but I’ll
Be taking mine on gnarly tracks , natch whereas I guess you won’t ?
I'm told by my dealer that engine bars are available from him shortly at around £60. holywoodservicestation at yahoo dot ie or try dealers further south.

Rad guard arrived in 5 days from India to mate’s house in UK.

Belly pan and engine bars took 72 hours from Delhi to UK via FedEx but have now have now spent 72 hours in Guernsey without being delivered . Local morons !!

No rush as no bike till July ish

All my bits have now arrived from India . Final bits arrived today , 13 days after ordering . They weren’t due till end of May so pretty good really . Just need a bike now !!

Hitchcock’s have just received a couple of 450s and are doubtless setting about doing their thing.

Expect a whole range of farmers shortly

Got the new RE OEM Adventure/Touring windshield. For my limited height (1.7m, 5'7") on the standard seat at 825mm it's pretty useless; the turbulance hits directly at helmet level. Could be that i set the seat to 845 for A-bahn/motorway trips. Will test that.

Does anyone know if a side-stand extension for the new RE Hima 450 - about a cm extra should do it, bigger footprint would be nice too.

Ordered these off Amazon.

In the spirit of buying cheap shite for this bike, they’re were one third the price of Double Take mirrors and will be fine for my needs.

Arrived today and seems well made, and well packed :

The only ‘posh’ item I’ve bought are a set of Barkbusters for the bike.

Just need the bloody thing to turn up now so I can start fitting stuff in a big pile of boxes in the garage.

Posted this in the other thread but more applicable here

Collected my tubeless Hanle black yesterday and fitted a few farkles last two days .

Tall screen and new mirrors . You’d need to do a double take to realise they’re not.

Just waiting for an electrical connector before I can wire up my Chigee, plus heated grips and Barkbusters.

Tank will need to come off and only want to do it once so waiting for the ACC plug to arrive.

Broke my rule of only buying cheap shite for the bike .
Ordered a set of Pivot Pegz direct from USA

IMG_1320.jpeg

Having tried the bike off-road the other day , the OE pegs are ok but I have a poorly toe which might need surgery and need more comfort when standing up . Had Pivot Pegz on many bikes and they are the best in my opinion .

Tried a few places in UK but nobody had them and Adventure Bike Shop told me to just buy direct .

Only $20 postage and already in UK enroute only 36 hours after ordering .

Fitted Oxford Evo heated grips today .
Took bloody ages as had to file down all the knobbly bits on the throttle tube and also the raised edge . Got it done eventually then fitted Barkbusters and Pivot Pegz .

Finally , wired up Chigee . Had to fit new 2 way ACC connector but the Chigee’s not powering up. Might be a loose wire or possibly because I powered it via my Thunderbox . Will refit ring terminals tomorrow and power straight off battery and see if that works . If not , I’ll bin the ACC connector as not ideal location and tap into a tail light if I can work it out .
