Tootingtastic now, tested hooter and not a beep, got a second hand one gaffa tapped it to the old one (couldn't get the mole grips on the nut to remove the old one), twisted the wires together, gaffer taped again......job done........now where's them rotors lol.

Thanks to all for help and advice (and the banter!!!).
