Cant help thinking that it would have been so much better if they had removed the redundant/ugly rear footrest hangers....but otherwise (despite my well know unreceptiveness to airhead "customs") ` I rather like it....

One of the nicest I have ever seen ! Proper brakes/top yoke etc...... and with spokes. We need more details ( especially if I'm going to cut up my R100T

My R100GS....... 
Twin plugged and R1150GS front wheel/caliper etc
Higher 5th gear/new clutch/timing chain and CS ( Hi-Comp ) pistons plus new crank shells ( although not needed ) . Scriminger heads/carbs. Ridiculous oil cooler removed. All done 11,000 miles ago so new zero speedo fitted then

It is indeed....although I bought it off a 'dealer' ( loose term used there
) from Liverpool. Had a very interesting telephone conversation with John Taylor; a top bloke and a superb engineer

Only problem with mine is that has only 27 hp. It has the low power setup. But runs smooth so not worried.

They aren't that loud, but then I like loud bikes!
Headers were made by a man just up the road, silencers are standard short Goldies, these are temporary while I get some stainless Goldies made.

1992 R80GS Special...
Fully rebuilt. Have just put 3,000km on the new speedo running it in. Siebenrock-built engine, 1,000cc conversion with large valve R100RS heads, rebuilt gearbox, new wiring loom, BAMW short rear subframe with G/S seat and Paris Dakar tank. 320mm disc, Continental TKC80s, Hepco & Becker expedition panniers, heated grips, bar raisers, lowered footpegs, high output voltage regulator, 55w spotlights, G/S switchgear, auxiliary power socket. Stainless exhaust with Y-piece, rebuilt wheels with stainless spokes and polished rims.
My fifth GS. Previously:
'84 G/S
'85 G/S
'96 Basic Kalahari
'87 G/S Paris Dakar

Finally finished
Well after four years,it's finally finished.There was a classic bike show in Swansea Marina today so I thought I'd bring the GSS along to keep my Matchless company,it's amazing how many people either have owned airheads or have a couple tucked away in their shed.I even got approached by a chap who used to run a BMW dealer in Swansea back in the seventies,he couldn't remember BMW ever selling a GSS,I then pointed out the name I'd come up with on the side panel.
