Morning All,

Returned my GSA to my dealer for the pro shift to be repaired as stopped working after they adjusted the lever position for me at the 600 mile service. Unfortunately they could not establish why it is not working in the time I could leave it with them.

Last night was looking through the paperwork they gave me and to my horror :mad:looking at the Visual Health Check form it has: *PLAY IN REAR HUB/BEVEL UNIT* printed on it in several places.

This may seem a silly question, but how serious is this as (A) why did my dealer not tell me this at the time, particularly as I had to go back the following day for something else? (B) I am off on a 3 week 3,000+ ride around Europe in a couple of days.

Thanks

Speak to the service manager , if it was safety related I doubt that they would have allowed you to take the bike away especially after having put pen to paper and recorded the issue. They would be leaving themselves wide open if it suffers catastrophic failure when you are riding the bike

If the dealer did anything software wise to the GSAP it has to re learn and takes about 10 miles of normal gear changing to do so which may be why it wasn't working after the service !

As for your other issue IDHAC

Depends how much play, I wouldn't want to be told that at 600 mile service! You need to speak to the service manager and see what he says but they should be able to sort it for you unless you are off Tuesday?
