HP2 - urgent help sought...

Timolgra has just been on the 'phone from the Sahara wanting to know if anyone can help with a kill switch problem. Seems it's stuck in the 'off' position and they need to know (without knackering the bike), which wires to switch over to cut out the kill switch altogether.

Anyone with the knowledge out there?

I've had a look here, the switch you need is S9083 I think, but I'm not mechanically minded apparently

I think the same has happened here as happened to mine a while ago where the switch has over travelled. there's a ramped paddle on the inside of the kill switch which releases the kill button when you turn the switch to the left or right, this can on impact ride over the edge of the ramp thus rendering the switch useless. the switch unit can be taken apart with the right tools. a very small torx bit is required to take the internals out of the switchgear, then it's easy to reset the switch and put it back together again.

bypass the sidestand switch give us a quick low down
i see you mentioned the colours , do you join together , i am told there are 3 wires and one it the control circuit ?
