Clinging to reality by a finger tip.
Does anyone have an explanation as to why Husqvarna TE610 require conrod replacement every 6000miles?

It seems incredible to me that a bike described as, "Road legal, off road style motorcycle, designed primarily for the road but capable of moderate off road use" needs a major strip down so regularly and so often.

Looks mighty fine though.

My ktm exc was every 90hrs yet no one ever did with no problems
The yam's wr400's on the other hand would snap below the little end if not changed & you pushed your luck.
Have you tried thumper talk to see if they have any problems

The con rod doesn't require replacement at 6000miles - it was a mistake in the original service schedule. A revised service schedule is available on request from www.husqvarna-moto.co.uk website.
