Chains have come a long way in the last few decades and no longer need regular adjustment and lubing as the most important bits to lube are now greased from new and sealed so you only need to get a smidge on the roller surfaces to ease theme over the sprockets.

Correction - lubrication is needed under the rollers - see video

I’ve not had to adjust my chain since I got the bike, and I’m not as smooth as you!

Me either - adjusted once in 8.5K miles (because I felt I should before setting off to Europe, not because it was particularly slack).
Quick wipe over with WD 40 sprayed onto rag to get the crap off then a squirt of dry lube - job done.

My only serious complaint is it needs a new rear tyre - AGAIN!!!
