I do have an aircooled bike now, but it's not shaft driven but as the co-organiser said it still didnt fit the entry criteria I cancelled my time off.
Now it appears airhead owners don't even have to come on them !! :()

Thats always been the case, but yours is a fucking yammyhonda whateva trailie..
So stop being a :trippy:trippy:trippy

Anywhere in the country should be less than a days ride away. Last October I managed to get home to Devon from Johnny's place in Isle of Skye in one days ride. Left HRH Oonyacks place at 09.35 and got back here in Devon at about 10.00pm just shy of 800 miles. Surely a good airhead can manage that?:)

Wee-kend

Sorry Sid I can't make the wee-kend. I stepped on a blackthorne whilst cutting the hedge and due to subsequent infection I can't put any weight on my foot. Not ideal for a long treck from east to west so I'll have to duck out.
Sorry.
Dave.

MickDB1 is first to arrive. I've had him working non-stop since he got here. He just happened to mention that he was a plumber so he's been put to work plumbing. We will have a belfast sink plumbed in to the workshop with cold running water. When he's finished that, I've got him building a new bathroom up in the stable block so we will have an additional toilet to use.:)

Any other tradesmen especially welcome to arrive early.:)

I'm out.. sob..

As per my thread in the airhead section.. I forgot until last sunday that it was mot time for the bitza (stupid really as I should have known it ran out about a week before the wee-kend as it was this ime last year I got it together and on the road for the first time)...

I sorted the issues I knew about (carb leak and indicators flashing too fast) but in my rush I didn't spot the leaking fork seal or adjustment needed to the head bearings.. so it failed at 5pm today... I ordered the parts from the garage and they should be there tomorrow afternoon (or maybe friday depending on if they got the order to their supplier in time) but even if they turn up tomorrow afternoon I don't think I can get it done and retested in time to make it... totally :censor: off at myself now!

Sid/Proff - I ordered a T shirt & mug but obviously I'll not be there to get them. I'll drop Sid a PM and we can organise for me to send you the money to cover these (as I dont want to make anyone out of pocket) and also a bit more towards the charrrrity.

I'm now going to sit in the corner wearing mh ALF gear and think about exactly what I have done :(

In the inimitable fasion of Proff:

FFs you've got a Landrover haven't you? :blast (or at least a car) fling the bike in the back (in the case of a car, leave the bike at home. We know you have one) along with the parts and get your arse down to Devon, for expert knowlage and advise, whilst supping a cool glass of Cider :thumb2

and this as well...
Aye, take it on a trailer and fix it there.
Look at Shep last year - he turned up with a van full of boxes and drove away with a complete bike. :beerjug:

already thought about that but I'm kinda in between landies/cars.. the disco's gone to a good home this week and my 110's not back together after it's new paint job... and really doubt the missus will lend me her car!
So.. it is with a very heavy heart/sick feeling that I'm having to miss out.

Is the bike rideable?

If so you could book it in for an MOT down here and ride it down? Stop off here enroute and get it 100% sorted and then put through the MOT at garage round the corner from me.
