hi guys...im new here so if this is in the wrong section i do apologise......
ok just recieved my 99 1150gs today and after inspecting it ive realised the indicators come on when ignition is switched on....now this is the thing they dont flash until i push the indicator switch for either side...so they are just solid orange lights....which i dont like.....also im able to turn each indicator turn of again by pressing the same side switch...which i know is not right as the cancel button is on the right hand switch gear......the shop that sold and mot'd the bike said this is done to give the rider more visibility for the cars.......how do i remove this feature,,,any help is much appreciated.....

I think your bike has a Kisan Signal Minder fitted - an excellent bit of kit. It's default setting is to have the indicators on half power - you can reset this to them being off - download manual here...

Spot on Mike. Had a Kissan on mine and loved it. If I recall tou could also set the delay time for the indicators to cancel.

Motorworks or Sherlocks for brake pipes, don't replace with OEM, go stainless and do them all.

Anything that you're stuck with take the bike to Brian Giles BMW in Pembury. Excellent independent.
