Indicators!

Hmm, riding in this morning I became aware that the left indicator was switching itself on. Pressing the cancel switch once did not cancel them! It took several presses of the cancel switch

I'll be unscrewing the Left hand switchgear tonight and having a look................ unless of course, it does not happen tonight.

Anyone else had this happen? I do have muffs fitted and an Autoswitch, if that makes any difference.

Switch failure - I think you'll find this is a fairly common problem, mine went in 2003 IIRC. You can either replace the switch (do a search here for where to get them) or replace the entire unit (I got mine replaced under warranty) - you should be able to source one from Motorworks...

There ya go.. I'd got nothin better to do

You may get away with spraying electrical contact cleaner in there, as it may just be good ol fashioned crap making it stick

Most odd, no problems on the way home tonight. No doubt it will rear its ugly head again shortly!
