I was out and about on the MT yesterday and called by a Harley Davidson dealer

I actually passed my test in March and not ridden many bikes, and been on the case to see whats out there, but i am in love with a 1200 GSA
But, after chatting a bit, he let me out on this:
I have to say that is the worst bike i have ever ridden! My arse was numb after just 20 mins, the ride was rock hard, it refused to go around corners in a decent manner, it was very lumpy unless you spanked it. Vibration though the pegs was massive, as was the wind buffeting.
I felt very low and not really very safe on it, i found myself riding like a nervous learner!
Complete contrast from day earlier on the 12 GSA, where i was bombing through sweeping lanes at 80
with huge confidence. The BMW felt so natural in comparison to that American tractor!
I also popped by a Honda dealer as well, was not liking the vibe there, smelt like a show room, and none of the bikes appealed.
Unlike the BMW experiance where i was greeted by name and offered a big cup of tea and a biscuit.
My new contract work just can't start soon enough, as thats my GSA fund
