Leipzig had a big town vibe. It's a uni town so lots of young folk, cafes, pubs etc. lots to see and do. I stayed outside and rode in on the bike. There's bike parking right next to the tourist office right in the middle of the town.

I stayed in Wittenberg, also a Uni town, but not so busy.

Good find. I’m not really a lager fan so usually try to find other beers.

The very lovely and pleasant, ginger, receptionist didn't have change of a 20 Euro note so my 6 Euro beer only cost me my change - 3 Euro!
OK, said beer is done and I want a last one for the evening.
I've still only got my 20 note so I, being a gentleman as Posh Pete will validate, I offer to buy said Ginger a drink.
