There's a pretty impressive wall of bikes in this place- four stories high and tracing the lineage of BUUM bikes- not all the models are there of course or they'd need a tower block to display them all, but it seems they've tried to display all of the important changes and major steps in the development of their bikes throughout the centuries.....it works pretty well acually.
Bit of a cock-up on the camera front I'm afraid.....without the back display showing what the heck I was doing, I couldn't tell if the flash was goingto go off, if all I was going to get was reflections of me in the windows (now that wouldn't make for a very good thread would it
) or how much of each bike I was actually capturing......
Some came out reasonably well though and it was an interesting walk, following the history through from 1478 to today
Because of my extensive and encyclopaedic knowledge of old BUUM motorcycles, I can definitively and confidently say that this fine specimen is an R39.
(You can tell 'cos of the droopy handlebars if you really want to know
It's also, oddly enough, the same model that Proff used to ride before he was evacuated in the Crimean war and sent to live with Mrs Miggins in the Dudlaaaaay treacle mine canteen.
