Picked up the Fermanagh Ulster Photo Rally Point a Tully Castle.
My grandfather was born and reared on an adjacent farm to here.
Leitrim Photo Point
Stayed again in Hamill's in Ballinamore.
Great spot.
Very busy with fishermen for World Fishing Competetion

No problem Mandy - I will send it on later.
We stayed in Cushendall - always a good welcome from Alex in the Village Inn B&B.
Headed straight to one the local pubs while Grumpy had a shower- An Lurig I think - and had good slagging with a few locals.
Went back for a shower and we headed straight across the road to McCollums Bar.
Grand spot - not much of an early evening rush at that stage, though there were a few around later.
Just hanging around street corners
Had a good feed back in McCollums later.
Only photographed desert.
Headed straight to one the local pubs while Grumpy had a shower- An Lurig I think - and had good slagging with a few locals.

Had to shorten trip a bit in order to be home for Wednesday so we headed back to Cork on Tuesday.
Grumpy had a great spin down the Antrim Coast and along east home.
I needed to go back to Cork via Leenane to pick-up something I left in the hotel.
Took as straight a line - along small roads - as I could find, from Cushendall to Leenane heading North South East, with a bit East through the Sperrins
Beautiful part of the country on a day like this.

Had an excellent lunch here in Leitrim Village - really good steak for good value
Swung north of Lough Mask and down The Partrys.
With Croagh Patrick in the distance.
As I was collecting my left luggage , I overheard a tourist enquiring for a room, only to be told it was booked out.
Vintage cars were beginning to gather in the village, whom I assumed were booked-in.
Great business for a Tuesday in September.

Needed to push-on if I was going to get home at some reasonable hour.
Would have fancied a pint in Keane's Bar at Maum, but had to pass-up.
Really gorgeous evening.
Had an interesting experience after filling-up with petrol in Ardrahan - the speedo climbing from 120kph to 200kmp and back to 120kmp.
This happened a few times and then reverted back to normal.
On a cable-operated speedo that was odd.
Managed to get a moon-shot over the Galtees on the way home
A few more photos to endure tomorrow

Route from Cushendall to Leenane if anyone is interested.
Obvious enough route, but very nice.
Cushendall to Carrick-On-Shannon is very good.
Carrick-On-Shannon to Claremorris is functional
Claremorris to Leenane is great for GS's
