After buying two sets of PIAA lights 001's and 002's from the US way back in April (thanks to Thunder), I've eventually got around to making a start to complete the installation. It took a couple of attempts until I was happy with the the installation ie. changes of mind as to where the relays were to go and where the cabling was to run. Eventually I got it right and last night I took the bike for a spin around my local lanes. What a difference! I can now see where I'm going and can drive with confidence as if in daylight.

I thought I would post a couple of pics of the installation, which others may find useful reference. I know I gathered a lot of useful info from this section which helped me enormously, so I feel I it would be good to contribute something.

Neat job - I like how you've mounted the autocom - where are the autocom audio leads routed?

When you say audio leads, I presume you mean the headset leads. Well, the pillion lead runs under the RH frame tube to exit under the pillion seat. The end of the lead and plug is stored where the U lock should go. The rider lead exits on the RH side between the seat and the air box.
 
and what's that centech thingy - does it supply 5v to your gps too - this looks very neat / interesting...

It's a fused distribution board, which supplies 12V fused power to accessories without having to use the on board Aux. socket. Using it means that any accessories do'nt upset the Canbus system. It's available from Motorad Concepts and does the job very well. I use a Garmin Streetpilot 2620 which uses a 12 v power supply, not 5V.
