Anyone replaced their LH tensioner recently? If so do you have an accurate part no and contact tel no for supplier. BMW @ Laceby did not recognise the part no of the enhanced tensioner on the "how to" thread. Also what is the torque setting for the tensioner cap?
Cheers Eng

The part number is 11 31 2 325 563. If the dealer does not "recognize" it, I would ask what number they have for any LH cam tensioner. Old stye tensioner housings are not available anymore.
You can get your own part numbers here: MaxBMW
or here: RealOEM
or even here: A&S BMW
Regarding the torque, notice that its nearly impossible to fit a torque wrench in there without removing the paralever arm. The tensioner is like an oil drain plug, with the copper washer that provides good feedback on the tightening as it conforms to the mating surfaces. All you have to do is to tighten it just enough so it doesn' t leak.

Replaced mine last December. Part number renains unchanged from that of the old style tensioner. It's on the system as I was quoted £128 for the new part instead of £45 for the old part. Ended up buying mine in Germany for £104 as I was there anyway.

Made a huge difference to my bike, significantly quieter, well worth the money IMO.
