Hello South Eastern peeps,

Herts TRF has organised a presentation from Lois Pryce. Check out her website - you may have heard of her books Red tape and white knuckles and Lois on the loose. The TRF are selling tickets for anyone to come along.

Lois is, to use the cliche, the real deal :bow and it should be a very good listen. There's details on the poster below of how to get tickets.

Get yerselves along :thumb2

For those of us who haven't been to the venue before, where it it?

AL7 1AB is not a valid postcode and there is not a road called Central Drive in WGC!

Here you go - Google maps is your friend... Black circle on the top map, X marks the spot in a black circle on the zoomed-in view.

Once you get into the Shire Park business park there's signposts to the social club.

See you later!

And for gawd's sake don't tell anyone that the boys from the GS site couldn't find their way around Hertfordshire to a presentation from an adventure biker, I'll never hear the end of it..... :blast

PS: If you're thinking of coming along and you haven't got a ticket or spoken to John Fox yet (contact details in the poster above), PLEASE PHONE JOHN BEFORE SETTING OUT. I don't know how many tickets are left.

Yes, I have a ticket with my name on it!

:mmmm

PS - My evening might be better spent working out where we're going tomorrow night!!

Interesting talk last night :thumb2

I don't think I'd be as happy trundling off with so little prep! No set route plan fair enough - if I was travelling on my own I certainly wouldn't stick to a set itinerary, it would defeat the object of the trip. But even I would sort out some insurance! And a fecking great steel ex-ammo box on the top of a Serow must have been a handful.

But I'm just being a green-eyed monster, I'd fecking love to do a trip like that, so fair play to her! :bow:bow:bow

In general tho', after Ted Simon, McBoorman, Sam Manicom, Dan Walsh and Mondo Enduro, and now Lois, I wonder if there is a saturation point after which we'll get fed up with RTW bikers telling (and selling  ) their stories?
