Magnets ... and EWS

On my key ring there's two keys, the bike and the house.

Not wanting the house key rattling around scratching the plastic housing I thought of getting a small self adhesive magnet off eBay (12 for a couple of quid) so the house key would stick on it on the bike.

Now this shouldn't have any adverse affect with the EWS antenna should it??

yes it will,the antenna ring,clue in the name receives a signal from the key,a magnetic field will disturb it

ta for that, I did wonder .... oh well off to plan a) that involves Velcro ... and I'll use the magnets on my older non ring antenna equipped bikes

push a piece of rubber tube over the key

I had the same problem so I bought the BMW key zippered holder thingy

I had the same problem so I bought a goat leather zippered holder thingy in Maroc...does the business
