Mapsouce update error

I've tried to update my copy of Mapsource to version 6.11.6.0 and it successfully downloads all 43.7MB of data, but on completion I get the following error and it doesn't install. Any ideas what might be causing the failure?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

A badly made self extractor I think. If you go to the Garmin site and try to get it, it just times out. Wait till they re-post it.

Had the same problem the other day. Seems its problem with Garmin themselves. Sent the error report off in Email to them like it said and got a reply back afew days later.
They'll send you a couple of links to try out if the error occurs again. Not had time to try them myelf yet so dont know if they work.

Apparentley as Ebbo found out it's "Bloatware".
