Mapsource question.

I have a quest arriving soon, I doubt that it will have V7 of mapsource with it, but I already have V6 that was supplied with my old GPS V loaded on my pc. will there be any issues with unlock codes. or will I need to remove V6 then load up the version that cmes with the new unit?

Yes.......

both are possible depending what you want to do. You can unlock a second unit on the mapsource from the GPSV but I would question the wisdom of this . I would suggest you use the unlock codes that will come with your quest and load them into your existing PC mapsource then you save the second unlock codes from the GPSV in case you ever want them in future for something else. You might pick up a 60c or other unit that doesn't come with mapsource unlock codes so you will be able to use it for free.
All you have to do with the quest is enter the codes into mapsource and connect your unit - mapsource will check if you are using legitimate unlock codes with the serial number of your unit.
