r65gs 48hp 1990, danish military version, now mine (along with r1150gsa)

Johs, DK

Whilst looking at old pics I found this, not mine, but me Bro's in (guessing) early to mid 90s.

The thing is he bought it from Paul (?) an ex BMW mechanic who later set up PFM brake discs, was a top bloke leant me some tools when he had his first repair shop in Richmond (the real one, not the gaylord one in the smoke).

Anyway I digress.

I don't know the reg, but this one had a R100 engine swapped into it - so maybe, just maybe it's still out there somewhere? Thinking on - it may have a PFM disc too I guess??

**** I was a cool dud...:blast

Airhead Rally Project

Just finished this bike, ready for the Jojo Historic Rallye in France at the end of the month.
The engine block and tank is standard, and that's about all!

Can do a build report if you are interested..

Cheers, Rick.

Beautiful bike, tastefully executed mods - well done :thumb2

Where did you get those engine bars from ? if you don't mind me asking - they look so much stronger than the standard ones.

What a stunning bike  Good luck with the rally.
