Very pleased to get my 87 g/s PD, purchased from a Mr Burton in January finished. Very many thanks to Mike at Overland & Classic who vapour blasted & totally rebuilt every major component including carbs.
The man is a Star.......
It was a pleasure bolting it all back together.
Popped in a new loom whilst I was at it.

Fired up ( first time ) and purred after a healthy rebuild !! Maybe do the Dragon Rally 2024 on her ? Siebenrock 1000cc engine, new gearbox and new complete clutch assembly, plus hours of smaller work...all worth it ! Sidecar is the ONLY A.T.H. ( Hedingham ) model in the world !

I have found the perfect monkey...hopefully he'll be put to the test enroute into North Wales ( on roads the Gestapo won't be over regulating ) !!

Picked up my r80 G/S from Darlington on Saturday .. epic journey through the Dales via Richmond, Buttertubs/Swaledale, into Settle (cracking coffee and bakewell at the 3 Peaks Cycle), Skipton .. then down to Hebden Bridge (excellent Pizza at the Old North bar) through the backroads down to the Peak District and on towards Derby where I jumped on the M1 and headed to Berkshire as it was getting late .. 310 miles and a full day in the saddle .. not a bad little shakedown ride for this 42 year old beastie.
