MORE DETAILED MAPS ????????????

I have Mapsource on my PC with "city navigator Europe NT 2011 " maps , my question is how can i get a map with street level detail as this map only shows A and B roads nothing smaller !!

This may sound daft - but you have selected max detail - there is a sliding range of view detail....

I have Mapsource 6.16.3 with 2013.2 maps

But (doesn't matter on version of maps) there is a drop-down menu
3rd one along - goes from lowest to highest....

Yeah i have done that it"s set at highest ,no real detail when you zoom in ,no side roads etc ,doesn"t go much lower than B roads

Have you got the right map selected in the map source menu bar?

Yeah it"s the europe one and it says unlocked

When i click on the icon to open the "map source" it goes through the proceedure as if it"s installing everytime is this correct ,it asks me to tick the terms and conditions etc then opens up to map source ,it says "extracting garmin web updates"

Make sure basic map only is not selected or use shortcut Ctrl+G

What location are you looking at?

Tried scotland and Northern Ireland ,can see down to B roads but nothing smaller ,some small villages are just names on the map no roads .

Have a look at central London. Can you view to street level there?

I can't remember which release it was that upgraded the NI maps.

I think it"s sorted . In the view tab the basic map setting was ticked ,i unticked it and ZOOOOOOOOOOMMMM DETAILED MAPS NOW TO GET OUT ON THE BIKE
