Not had my 06 GSA not that long to be fair done a couple of 1000 miles on it now but I feels like it lacking something in the middle if you know what I mean?clearly I ain't bothered about top end speed or 0-60mph but I just feels like I doesn't pull as well as I would want it too.can you peeps suggest any mods that may make it a little more interesting to ride
Cheers in advance :beerjug:

As above but the remap will fill in the dip in the midrange. Be aware also that the throttle has quite a long action, maybe you just need to give it a bigger handful ;)

quick action throttle does for me saves that double twist you need to get true full throttle:thumb2

Drive in Devon. The power is more than enough. If it's still too slow get. K12/13

Lol the throttle was to the stop have no fear of that
So! Removing the cat is where to start ... Cool where will I find a replacement pipe? Is it worth sticking a performance air filer in?

Many people say use standard filter Iv decatted mine quite simple to do my threads around hexhead forum have a look & accelerator module does make a difference afterwards too

Don't do the airfilter it will make it worse unless you do something about the fueling. Try the for sale section or eBay for decat headers. Probably won't fill much power in where your looking for it but it does let the engine rev a little better. Doing something about the fueling is really the only way to fill in the middle though put there for an emissions pass. Power commander, or a remap will sort you out properly.

De cat the thing and then either get it Hill top remapped or a Power Commander111. I've gone the PC111 route as I've had it set up on a Dyno to my requirements and I have to say my 06GSA rides beautifully and pulls like a train.

There is a HOOOGE! thread on the Hilltop subject.

Fit some Remus, Akraprovic or other's headers & can with standard air filter and drive to Hilltop with 97 or higher octane petrol. Swap the filter for a free flow and have it all set up on the rolling road.

If you want serious grunt try a 1300cc rebore with reworks on head and cams with remap. But a new LC or K1200 would almost certainly be cheaper.
