Many people say use standard filter Iv decatted mine quite simple to do my threads around hexhead forum have a look & accelerator module does make a difference afterwards too

You did your own?shweeet I'd like to have a go at that have you got any pictures or details to help me along the way?

Not much to it apparently. Cut the cat open. Gut it. Weld it back up.

If you cut it where the mounting strap is, then it will hide the weld up when you re-install it.
Weigh the cat in for scrap.

I have a good condition used OEM header with cat if you want one to cut.

Lenny's rocket sprocket

I went with Lenny's http://boxer-performance.com/boxer-performance/ sprocket set along with the module for my '06 and I got one hell of a lot more lower to mid range torque performance than any cat elimination will bring. Go right to the mechanical enhancement by lowering the timing value. They have a great support system in place. IMHO
