Mostar Hotel Recommendation

Just returned back from a 2 week road trip to Bosnia, stayed in many locations:

Austria - Tirol, Gasthaus zur Schanz Schanz 1 by Kufstein in Tirol family Rm 3 hairy bikers 95 euro internet great location.
Slovenia - Bled lost the details excellent though.
Italy - Aosta
Croatia - Rijeka
Italy - Mestre
France - Chamont 52000 - Motel du Val de Villers, 57 euros (not recommend)


Bosnia - Mostar, now I can recommend this Hotel surprisingly called
Hotel Mostar
Kneza Domagoga bb

Cost 63.00 BAM - about £35, internet access B&B onsuite very basic but plenty of space and balcony
Secure bike parking
English speaking about 10 min walk from the famous Mostar bridge old town.

Mostar

Stayed in Hotel Mostar back in 99. It had a kind of 70s feel to it and had off milk and tasteless cereals for breakfast. Great location though. Everything around it was bullet holed or shell damaged.

The bridge was rebuilt between that trip and when I went back in 2004. Good to see.

In Rijeka try the Hotel Continental, a big old place again with a feeling of time having passed it by. The town is a bit of a poor relation to Split.

Read the reviews, it is very good and reasonably priced. Ten minute walk from the restored bridge. Entering this particular area is like stepping into Istanbul. Fascinating.
