Hi Bob. I only counted 9231 hairpins, but we didnt go to Dubrovnic. We turned right a tad past split and headed inland.
If you look in ride reports, Ive got a bit in there.

Is that Rothenberg in some of the early photo's?? - we stayed there a few years ago in great digs just outside the town - the "Fuchsmuhle" I think (flourmill)

Nice pics; you seem to have covered much the same ground as we did.

Were the 'seaside' shots from the Island of Krk in Slovenia ? looks familiar ?

We also visited Lake Bled. Very picturesque but rather touristy and 'twee'.

We looked in Estate Agents' windows - houses seem to go for around the 2,000,000 Euro mark there

Croatia is being re-built but there is still a lot of '91-'93 war damage in Bosnia. We went off-road and saw new graveyards surrounded by the outline of houses - whole villages wiped off the map. Rather sobering.

We crossed the Alps (both ways) and the Dolomites, absolutely fantastic

I'm still sorting out my photos, but today I must re-build 'Seancb's' gearbox, so I'd better get on with it.

Aye, been there a few times now.
Makes a nice first stop when on holls, either there or Bernkastel Keus on the Mosel.

Some of the seaside was at the North end of Pag island.
You can go down to Zadar and drive back up or get a 10 ferry ride across to the top.
Nice hotel but nowts to do but eat drink and swim

Aye, dissnae half bring it hame when ee see some o the villages, and graveyards with row upon row of green wooden markers all with the same date.
Found some places quite sad to be in.
Other than that we had a great time, by the way Switzerland has become seriously expensive has it no?
