The Abus noose chain is pretty good, I used mine which I've had a while now while away recently, find something for the noose to go around and then it goes through the rear hub of the Stelvio and then the litelok through that. Much like Wapping, even if I'm tired and I want to walk away, that little voice goes off in my head saying "It's hard to continue without the bike, and if they really want it, at least make it as difficult as possible".
In Plzen recently I was there on the Stelvio, and there were 4 Slovakian bikes parked up, a wing, two Africa twins and a K1600, none of them secured with anything other than steering locks. Mine was there with the Cheap oxford cover, Abus noose, Litelok and hiplock on the front ......... probably a bit overkill, but I'd forgotten my butter.
Funniest thing was in Brno at the Hotel Vaka, where the female manager came out and stopped me parking, brought me around the back of the hotel and parked it in a meeting room with a coaster under the sidestand

She did explain that in the last year or so, that area has been a target for theft.
