Hi been out this morning, in heavy rain . First time with mudsling on , never been in such a mess seat back of helmet, boots and clothing , totally covered.in mud GSA LC 2014 any suggestions please
Fella, I think a rear crud might help - I guess I would say that (for the cynics amongst us and sadly I have come across one or two, bless `em) but here`s a recent message from one of us referring to the rear crud - it seems to work and may help?
And yes, its me who makes them but if it didn`t work I`d send you your money back coz I ain`t out to see anyone off, let alone on the forum. And yes I have a mudslinger (and a rear crud) too but haven`t had the time to try it in anger.................
Thank you.
For making such cracking gear... Just back from Touratech weekend where I followed a series of faster moving lunatics down gravel roads, up muddy banks, through bottomless bogs and up near vertical faces, (maybe i exaggerated the last two). The headlamp guard took a few direct hits but the rear deflector worked amazingly well too. I have removed the ugly plastic monstrosity from around the rear wheel and trousers and back stayed clean. Still running a 6.5" numberplate on the deflector and the slots make a very nice spray pattern up the plate... could be useful....!
So I reckon you saved the headlamp for sure.
Best wishes.

eyes: only dislike on the mudsling is that there are 4 cable ties to hold it on and the bike is starting to look as tho its being held together with cable ties
so i used 2 m5 button heads to fastener it to the under tray ..
I've just spent the afternoon riding through TORRENTIAL rain, and my trousers are clean. They are wet, but on a motorcycle, when it rains no matter what shite you bolt to the bike, you're going to get wet.
