multistrada or GS

Had a go

Had a test ride today

I thought I'd try a Multistrada. My summary it would have been a good replacement for my Honda fireblade, similar performance, but with a usable riding posture. But I re-discovered that I didn't really enjoy the painful level of performance that modern superbikes offer. What's the point of a the power if you never use it, of if when you do it's either frightening or license busting?

That just about sums it up for me :thumb2

I will add that the brakes are fantastic and the gizmos left me wanting a new GSA with all the trimmings :D not really how i expected to feel :nenau so there you go, but f**k me its fast.

Bought a GS over an MS

The demo MS was falling apart.

Test rode the GS and it was so enjoyable I wrote the cheque there and then.

Delivery on Sat.

Can't wait.

I enjoyed the extra power of the multi, made my GS feel flat afterwards. However I like the robustness of the GS and it's raw butch looks! They look awesome when you pass them as they stand so tall off the ground! GS every time for me!

Saw five or six of them over Woodhead today, Rider, Rider + Pillion, every one of them sounded like a bag of spanners, good looking yeah, sound like shite:augie

The MS seems to be too much of a trying to be all things to all men bike - I'd rather have a GS and a sportier bike - that said I took the Blade out for the 1st time in a while and it felt very small and narrow compared to the GS.

I am sure I'll have to test ride one but for now the GS will cover all two up and luggaged requirements.
