I know the winds are high, but this is ridiculous!
Riding to work this morn, and fighting the headwind, I was minding my own business when I caught a glimpse of a small, light-coloured object disappearing past me from behind the dashboard. I figured it was a piece of paper or plastic backing off my keyfob or something, and thought no more of it...
Except, parked up at the petrol-station in a queue an hour ago, I'm sat contemplating the dash before... "something's missing"... On top of the head bearing, where I'm sure there's supposed to be a logo, is a black component with a hole in the middle and a locating notch at the 12:00 position.
Anyone had this before? Or reckon there's a way I can get a new one without having to fork out silly amounts? I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to do that, and I'd like to avoid shelling out if possible, and being able to prevent it happening again in any case...
