Only tried it in the garage. Shone out of the small garage back door, down the 200 yard garden and lit up the house at the back like daylight
Main spots were 67 quid delivered and the little markers (which are too bright really so I need to install a dimmer) were 20 quid.
Lightbar fab courtesy of the fabulous Vern, ceramic coated black courtesy of Syco and stuck together and wired by Turnertech of Stoke on Trent.
All in approx 200 squid and the best farkle you can fit to a bike if you ride at night
Total draw is 7 amps, main spots are supposedly 4500 lumen each, little ones are 900 lumens. HID dipped and main were already fitted but were supplied by the Jedi light master Les Wassall.

Look better on the front, but look strange on the rear IMO. Mixing them would look really strange.
The raised eyebrow must be a Moore thing, the slightly quizzical expression was the only one Rodger mastered in his entire career..

Definitely need something like this, must say the 1150 has the worst lights I have known on any bike and that includes my duke which I thought where bad!

Phil, you'll be throwing so many photons forward that the bike will go backwards.
I've been thinking of dimming the smaller led lights as they are a bit bright (ok if angled downwards). I need to look into something that will dim them on dipped beam but let them go full power on high beam.
The bike isn't at home at the mo but I'll get action photos as soon as it's back from its hols.

That's just a crazy ball of light.
Clearwater do LED lights that are permanently on and have a dimmer switch on them. They also connect up to the main beam wire so that they come full on when you switch to main beam. I've just bought some Darlas for my Alp. I've yet to have them fitted.
I'm sure you could sort out something similar for yours.
