Picked up the new Adventure TE on Saturday, and gave it what can only be described as a thorough spanking over the Brecon Beacons and back yesterday - a 350 mile round-trip which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I like the new GSA - the seat's a bit shit (roll on Sargent getting the new model out) and the screen is cheaply-made, nasty and ineffectual, but it's a cracking piece of kit. The engine just seems to want to rev and rev, and pulls like the proverbial train - bags of low-down grunt, too.
Very impressed.
So, new seat, decent screen or extension (I'm 6'2"), plus some furkling with the electrics to get some power to a decent horn, heated jacket etc. etc. and it'll be sorted.
I'm also surprisingly impressed with the Anakee 3 as well, being something of a Tourance EXP fanboi.

I agree about the screen. I haven't bought a replacement or extension yet, but this thread might help you. I'd be interested to hear how you get on:

So was I riding from UK to Greece, but they are useless on gravel tracks, might as well have slicks. The 2s were a reasonable dual purpose, the 3s are not IMHO.
