Forgive my ignorance as tech not my strong point.. always used the nav 5 or nav 6 been using the nav 6 for years and mainly use it for bike information I do use the nav for directions when required.. I've set up the connect and ride but been away so not had time to try it on the bike yet.. my question is.. I understand I can either use my phone or sd card.. what's the benefits if any of using a sd card? I do have unlimited data on my phone.. so is there a reason why some users insert a sd card.. may be they don't have unlimited date or the wifi signal fails.. just curious of the benefits of a sd card if any?
Also maybe not important to some riders.. but when not using nav for directions I use the nav 6 for bike information I have it set on 4 larger blocks first block are.. GPS SPEED/ENGINE TEMP/FRONT TYRE PRESSURE/REAR TYRE PRESSURE you could use the wonder wheel to scroll through till the 4 blocks of information you have chosen.. it was also easy to put this information in order where it was large enough to read.. I.e the first 4 blocks!
Can't seem to find GPS speed so assume that's no longer available? but can place the information in the order I want.. but can you still scroll through to the first 4 blocks you have chosen which makes the blocks large enough to read?
