NB, This photo was taken before I had any interest in photography.

Nowthen, is that a Kentish Lane, or a Lane of Kent? :trippy

Of Course! Actually, I quite enjoy the 'digital' process of tweaking a pic and being a bit creative.

Here is mother and daughter - the original was pretty bland and flat, and It's great to be able to play with it and do something with it.

HOWEVER ..... :rob

This thread is not about you or me!! FFS !! It is about off road tuition and poor old Caesi and King Rat (strange forum name .. :loopy) have been well and properly hijacked!!

King Rat / Caesi I appologise for their size 12 feet and crass behaviour ....

Yes I must apologise, this is a thread about King Rat wanting cheap off road tuition ..........................

Go to Wales King Rat - it's all very cheap up there ...

Lots of laughter in that picture, were you doing a slide show of your pictures

No, I think somebody had just suggested having a summer holiday in Norfolk ...

Now this is a really different suggestion........
Plan a holiday with the family and sneak off for a day or too whilst they are by the pool:green gri.

Which is what I did this year in Cyprus. I booked a day with Extreme Tours in Cyprus. Richard and his son were brilliant. I have ridden bikes for fun and work for 30 years but had never done any proper off road stuff. A KTM 350 Exec and all the kit and a day I will never forget but will try to repeat.

We rode the fire breaks at the top of the Trodos Mountains the views were spectacular and the training first class. Richard had myself and another first timer doing stuff I never imagined possible for a novice enduro rider.

The photo is me pootling along on the top of the world.

Just an idea..........

haha, I enjoyed the path this thread took :-)

Depending who's riding it I guess. I suspect Norfolk tigers GS will go down the trail bouncing off the hedgerows at right angles ...

At least if you see me and my off road talents :augie any pictures you take will not be clear enough for me to be recognised :P

I think the feed back has been absolutely brilliant. I understand that people have to cover their costs, but I can't afford £200 a day, neither can I afford to drop my bike. So whilst I love looking t the pictures of people doing unbelievable things with their bikes, atking them to incredible places, I get butterflies in my stomach when I think about doing it myself. hence the neeed for some pretty patient coaxing. Are Tourances OK for going on these traisl in North Wales? Or have I got to have real, proper off road tyres?

King Rat, by the way, was a name I used many years ago in the custom bike scene.

Hope you find some tuition :thumby: and apologies for Giles and his oafish behaviour in hijacking the thread :D

Without wishing to sound blunt, that's the sort of question you should have a go at answering yourself not to mention the question of whether riding a GS on the trails is for you.
Because it's not for everyone. :)
