£14695 otr for the TE. Not sure about the LE. That is straight from the dealer from whom I have reserved one :clap:clap

I ordered one just over a month ago and have heard nothing from my dealer in Guildford.

Yep it is the LE. Well spotted that man.

Actually they made a mistake and forgot to add the the otr so it is now £15295. Still not bad.

If you say it quickly:rolleyes:

Then there's luggage - 2 panniers and a topbox for most - another £1000-£1200

Bargain;)

I'm sure they're very nice and all that, but how do they justify that sort of price tag? Thats a shed load of dosh for a bike.

David, as I said earlier...

Not many actually buy them, they just 'rent' them for £200-£300 per month - so it matters not that it costs £16k otr with luggage

Price per month, mate...................that's modern motorcycling:D

Same prices given to me here also told its called the TE rather than LE, not using finance though. sold my Ducati and my 350 LC to fund it. And they will sell thousands. Not sure of colour yet, may have it repainted. Will need panniers Top box, and Tank bag, and a new sat nav. Also a HP pipe would be nice.

Crazy way to ride bikes, that's more than my fucking mortgage. I'd rather ride a £1500 bought and paid for bike.

If you look at the BMW site it has premium and dynamic pack listed and TBC after them.
So I think the standard bike will £15295 plus premium plus dynamic (=600) plus luggage (=1000 at the moment) so assume 17k and you should have enough for a tank of fuel......

At £13k, the KTM 1190R looks cheap! Back-to-back test-rides booked for Tuesday coming and a deposit will be put down for one or the other. Unfortunately it'll be based on the standard 1190 and 12LC rather than the R and GSA, but I'll use the standard bikes as a guide.

Just to add a bit of context, when I priced up a 2009 1200GSA, fully loaded with all the options, Dynamic, Premium etc but minus luggage, it came to £13,495 OTR. I bought an equivalent '08 privately off here with 2,200 on the clock for £9,650. Think I'll wait till the WCGSA has been both proven and there's a few low mileage ones up for sale before I consider one.

I picked up my 2009 GS MU with all the options and panniers for £9995 pre-registered in November 2009. The new TC wasn't such an improvement to warrant a £3k premium. The WC, on the other hand is worth the premium for riders who want a comfy sports tourer (like 95% of GS owners who are not interested in riding off road).
