BMW do seem to be far behind the others in technology and introducing new stuff that the others have been running for years ....

And a price increase.
Standard bike a year ago in September was £12839 + heated grip, cruise £660 =£13499 Before any discounts
Standard bike today £1370 + Premium(cruise), Comfort(heated grips) £1340 = £15040.
Oddly in the configurator you can't specify only cruise or heated grips. You have to order the two packages?

If you could have only cruise and heated grips as extra with the standard bike the price would be £14360

It's upgraded and available to those who want to buy it.

Life would be more dull if we all wanted the same things. Africa Twin, Ducati, KTM - wouldn't buy one before in preference to a 1250GS and the same applies today.

Arsey the other manufacturers are so far ahead in technology that the GS is the best selling bike worldwide aboce 1000cc...I know your Afreeka Tween had shift-cam , Telelever and paralever shaftdrive when Soichiro Honda was still alive... These damn copiers in Germany as the Japs are so far ahead not to mention Royal Enfield that sell the 650 crap like hotcakes because they are so advanced...

Told by my dealer that the new 2021 models should be in the showroom by the end of the month but they only had 4 of each (GS & GSA) coming in on the first batch but they were taking orders.

I don’t think the new Rallye looks as good in the photos so want to see one in the flesh.

The wife is soooooooo happy she can finally get a heated seat now she is moaning she only has 2 settings and I would have 5 if I would use it

I'm not having a go a BMW here , Ducati ,KTM just as guilty , I have a base tiger 800 , a new 900 base is £ 9500 still got 2 wheels , engine , frame ,seat , double the money , I don't think so
