No. The GS is in a different league when it comes to recalls & issues.

I have been riding BM's since the early 80's from R90s through to my current LC. In all those years I have had one recall, that was for the fork collar. Your comment seems to suggest that you have first hand knowledge of recalls for the GS? Why don't you detail these for the benefit of others? Or are you just throwing mud again, are you making it up just like your comments regarding your knowledge of 'Shiftcam failures' on an early thread posted on this section??;):D

Don't bother, you already know the answer, two trolls that always pop up, just ignore them.

I know, I know, but he must have such a wealth of knowledge on the matter and being a fellow biker I would like to think that he could enlighten us all with these details regarding the recalls yes?? Or is it just :blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah

That’s pretty good going !! If you’ve owned BMWs for nearly 40 years and only had 1 recall ! They issued 44 recalls between 2006 and 2016 alone so not quite sure how you’ve managed just the one ! I’ve owned 3 new BMW’s and they all needed recalls !!

Fantastic enlighten us further! No doubt you can remember some of these?

I can indeed.
My 1200GSA needed a couple of recalls. One was for the re-routing of the brake lines.
My K1300S needed a recall to fix the indicator switch that failed 5 minutes after I collected it from the dealer.
I’d sold my r9T Urban when I got a recall letter from BMW,so must confess to not taking much notice and lobbed it in the bin.

He did say GS, so you have had two for the GS. Of course if we were discussing recalls for every model of every manufacturer then I suspect it would be a long list indeed. So you have owned 3 BMWs and had 3 recalls, wow that is outrageous, what crap quality.

Glad you agree ! :-)

I’m talking about recalls and service bulletins. Have a look on this forum, in this very section, and you’ll find quite a few. ;)

I don’t have a problem with BMW, as I own two BMW’s, and Arsey owns a GS, so hardly hates BMW.

Muppet.

Feck me, thats a hell of a way to sign off your post. However its very pertinent to you.

He is a muppet though, as he’s proved several times already. Even more so this time, as he thinks we both hate BMW. ;)

I guess you wouldn’t understand seeing as you’ve only been a member here for 10 minutes.
Many of us first came here when we owned a GS. Many are still here but have since moved on to better bikes.
I still own a GS,though it’s not one of the current ones built down to a price and only designed to last the length of a PCP deal.

Thanks for that Nutty. But I am sure that I am not the only one who will be in this instance looking to you for your extensive knowledge regarding the GS range given you've owned more GS's than most on here and the numbers of recalls you have personally experienced:thumb:D;)
