Hi all, I've just put a deposit on a Xchallenge which I'll pick up at the weekend. It's a real used bike, or to quote the vendor "it's been used in the way intended". Seems to know its own way to Morocco. However I've no issues with that, I paid a price that reflected the condition.
There's stuff that I can see needs addressing, but it would be good if I could get advice on the unseen things that are likely be knackered.
My long term plan is an out of my comfort zone trip, to also celebrate a very significant birthday.
In the short term, I need to get some green lanes under my belt, since it's been about 30 years since I was last off road, and I was crap at it then.
