I think it looks fab in the black.
Why is Rab C Nesbitt standing behind it?

That's the van that brought back my GS with its new engine this morning.
I dare say 2 years (+ a vital 3 months) it arrived in a crate similar to that in the same yard & I was as excited as you are you now.
BMW has sold over 125,000 LC engined GS and GSA's since they were launched in 2013. The number of bikes that have had replacement engines is in double figures just this week and just on this forum.Even the R9T is getting in on the act.
Which means approximately 47.5% of LC GS's made won't have the corrosion issues mentioned on this forum, so a few won't be worried.![]()
He must have a really shit dealer as mine would have taken a starter motor off a stock bike![]()
Indeed. I'm glad mine will be painted black, along with the rear rack before I take delivery of mine.![]()
Then they go on to sell the bike as new to some unsuspecting buyer?

Bike looks good Rich, apart from the orange reflector on the fork leg
When are you getting yours and which dealer?
So no more than 99 then?
How do you qualify that figure?![]()
He cant, it was made up.
Out of the 125k lc gs sold, how many had a warranty claim?
A friend is a senior BMW technician, and has access to the stats.
I'd not noticed that. I ordered mine from Dean, and it'll be arriving within the next week or so.

And he works in the Warranty Dept in Berlin does he?
