Just had the 'enhancements' done on my GS, along with a few cosmetic warranty things. I booked it in with North Oxford Garage (where I bought the bike new in June 2007), but they had no loan bike as they were all booked out. 'What to do then?' I said. 'No problem sir, we'll fetch your bike, do the work and return it to you, no cost to you'
The bike was collected from my home on Monday am and returned to me, work all completed, today, Tuesday pm. (I live about 80 miles from NOG),
Thats what I call service.

Thanks to Matt and Simon.

The buying experience was just as good, with the bike being delivered to my home with a full tank of fuel and beating others on price.

I have no connection with NOG other than being very happy with their customer service.:clap

Rode to work last Monday and felt the back brake pulsing.

Warped disc me thinks.

Phoned Mat and explained problem, he said the van was out today so I said i would bring the bike (2008 12GS) in at lunchtime for a diagnosis.

Two hours later NOG van turns up to collect bike.:thumb2

another two hours later bike returns new rear disc and pads.

Don't get much better than that for service.

Great bike great service from NOG as usual crap quality components.

Bob

NOG coming to fetch the bike again. Following the software 'enhancement' the bike now has 'enhanced vibration', 'enhanced lumpiness' and 'not so enhanced performance'.

Not the fault of NOG.

We 'and NOG' do very well out of Mathew Tlisley.
Probably one of the most customer focused Service Managers in the business.
Aways pleased to see you, or talk to you on the phone. He's even been known to go to France on his day off to collect a customers broken down bike.

I'm glad I bought my GS from NOG.

Val.

Super Matt

Ooooooooooooooooooooooh Matthew you are wonderful, simply the best manager in the whole of NOG, in fact probably the best manager in the whole BMW network. You are so much better than that fat sarcastic sales manager you have to work with, you know, the one who lets you have all his demonstrator bikes to give to your customers so they all think you're so bloody great.........................................!!!!!!!

That'll be me then. Thanks Phil. :D

Taught me that I never want a 1200GT!

NOG ( nice one guys )

Can only agree, top notch service dept ( Simon and Matt ) and had my choice of customer bike last week during my 600 mile service, stuck with the R1200GS tho. Even a slight indesretion with an aftermarket damaged part is being sorted with a new one. Parts manager James is a really good guy too.

Im a happy bunny and will continue using them even tho they are further away for me to travel, customer service is reallllllly important to me.

:)

NOG have now sorted the problem, possibly not the fault of the software update. Bike now runs smooth.....as it did before...!

Turn up and wait, or book in?

If the latter, how far ahead is booking running at the moment?

Phone 01865-319000 & ask for Simon Cannon, you'll need to book in advance. Also in your interest to do so if the current MOT has already expired.
