Oh dear.... what have I started.

Today I reworked some of the wiring, fitted a socket for my sat nav, fiddled with the left carb to stop it from leaking and replaced the battery!

Now working extremely well, but I will balance the carbs with my new harmoniser sometime in the near future!

Cutting !!

Bike just passed an Mot, only advisory was a slight play in the bevel drive, how hard are these to adjust? I will probably bring it to the wee kend , so someone can have a look! May have to get the carbs balanced there, anyone doing that:thumb2

Mine has had a little play for the last 120,000 km, and it hasn't changed much.

And there isnt really a SENSIBLE DIY method of fixing them, just believe Mr Haynes when he tells you to leave it to someone with the proper equipment.

I have my own method, which worked for me, but I did say sensible -----.

Thanks all I will leave it and monitor it, it will be doing around a thousand miles next wee kend,

It is really only a small amount at the wheel rim!
