hello
i am currently riding a 2000 r1150gs with standard shocks but with hyper pro lowering springs and a top sellerie low seat.
the bike is low enough to maneuver around but a bit too low for my liking.
also the ride is very bouncy, i suspect the shocks are on their way out -40k kms.
i have recently ridden my friend's standard 1150gs but with factory low seat fitted and i can touch the floor pretty comfortably and i feel better on it but maybe i need it just slightly lower.
i was thinking of going for the ohlins short version -it should lower the bike by 25mm and a touratech sports single seat low version.
or should i go for standard ohlins length/shock and just learn to live with the slightly higher ride height?
sometimes i would also consider going to my dealer and ordering the stcok oem spring and struck and have the bike as BMW intended.
what are you views please?
thank you
