I know this is a on going thing on other page ,but the RT100 with chair is due a service , less than 3 thou a year , Is it any change in oil specs with chair or same , I know that there are some 3 wheelers out there , Any advice please .
 
Good Quality 20/50 mineral.
Myself I use either Castrol Classic or Silkolene

My "NEW" 65 g/s also has a fork brace which I was considering lending a certain Scouse midget :augie to get copied :D:D:D:D:D

My 65 g/s will be at Shroppy "do"..................................

I'd look again myself except some scrote has hacked into my Ebay a/c and it is now suspended...until I find a way back in ( re-setting password option doesn't work at the mo :rolleyes: )

ITs what Halfords have in the way of 20W/50 green tin , spec is API ,SE, CC ,will this do . Dont want to run around looking for 20/50 ,seems diffcult to find . we have ASDA but is it ok .????? Thanks again . Geno .

i bought this oil aswell have you found out if its ok yet not sure whether to use it or not

Some would disagree: But oil is oil. There's good quality oil and cheep oil.

You pay's your money and takes your choice.

If you're going to use the cheaper stuff and it claims the correct API etc, then it should be fine.
However; do yourself a favour and keep an eye/ear on it. Think seriously about changing the oil at half the recommended mileage 'filter too'.

Moisture in the oil is the biggest problem with bikes that arn't used that often.

Consider the costs of using twice as much of a cheaper oil along with two filters against the price of the better quality oils and one filter. You will probably find the better oil option is actually quite a bit cheaper in the long run.

Personally I use 20/50 Castrol T4 semi sin, or Rock Oil (used in Harley's) both easily available from bike shops, though they may need to order it in, so order a little extra.

Been using Morris Magnol 20W50 for years now in the RS &Pd ,no problems.
