I have just purchased a Garmin Zumo 345 which came with Western Europe maps. It does not include Croatia, Albania etc. so I have tried to install Open Street Maps of the areas I need. I found a Dutch site which explained the procedure but it was for a different model. I have the map image file on the internal memory now but it doesn't appear in the map list. Has anyone had experience with Open Street maps on a Zumo 340/345/395 or similar?

Presumably you downloaded from http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ Which version did you download, for loading onto the Garmin you need the image file which has to be unzipped. For use on Mapsource or Basecamp you can load the map installer-there are different version for Windows or Mac.

OSM maps ar far better than Garmin in the region you are looking at so worth taking the trouble to instal

Apologies for posting in wrong forum. Thanks for the reply, I have got it sorted now. I had to enable the Zumo as a mass strorage device and create a new folder on the internal storage called maps and drop the file in there. The instruction said drop in the 'garmin' folder which was incorrect. Job done and a money saved.
