Then off down the A9 stopping at Berriedale braes and Badbea.

Then through Helmsdale to a road I'd spotted from Lothbeg to Kildonan Lodge..

The high point, up to here hardly any wind but once I started dropping down the other side it was trying to blow me off the road!

Then a quick blast back via Kinbrace, Melvich and Thurso...

Stuff the 80/s, try some of the fantastic Scottish craft beers that are available. Wildcat made in Aviemore is one of my favourites.

Ooooohhhh, dangerous stuff, about 8% if I remember rightly. I tried it at the Paisley Beer Festival a few years ago, pretty good but lethal. I think that they were only serving it by the ½ pint.
