Pacific North West National Parks and Yellowstone.

Yes - as long as you have the North America maps loaded on your Sat Nav and it has to be done via a PC.

You can buy the SD card with them on from Garmin or I use these: http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl, and upload them using Garmin's Mapinstall.:thumb

i have just installed a garmin city navigator north america NT micro sd. which i got from these people for £52.94 delivered which is a good saving on the garmin web site price and they are 2014 maps.

Just been doing some tidying up and came across an article from an old RiDE magazine. This is from a trip across Canada:

Highway 93 is possibly the most scenic highway in the world without hard work or reaching extreme altitudes. Running 140 miles through national parks between Lake Louise and Jasper, the road is good and the views are stunning. Stop for Peyto Lake, waterfalls, wildlife lookouts and the renowned Athabasca Glacier and Columbia Icefield.

Guess where we're going guys?! :hogroast:hogroast:hogroast:hogroast

Thanx Andy. I do have the Garmin North America maps loaded onto a micro SD card in my Nav V. :thumb2

Does anyone else watch DDD on the food channel?
Happened to catch an episode last night & the show went to the host's favourite restaurant in his home town - the restaurant where he always takes his family. Surely that's got to be a good recommendation. And it just happened to be in Santa Rosa, CA.; the restaurant is called La Texinita. Looked worth a visit.
As a DDD fan I shall certainly be heading there for a meal while we're in Santa Rosa (& I'm not even that arsed about Mexican food tbh).

There are others in Santa Rosa recommended by Triple D

What about the first night?!

It's about a ten minute drive and if Chris has still got the minibus we could leg it up there to kick the trip off?:friday

Good idea but unfortunately I get in after everyone else & a few others aren't arriving until the Saturday or Sunday as I understand it.

A) who'd gonna drive the minibus when there are Margharita's flowing everywhere :ChrisKelly and B) to be honest, by the time you've all staggered off a 10 hour transatlantic flight and we've driven up from the airport, you'll probably be just wanting to have a snack and crash out.I'll still have the bus to get everyone up to Santa Rosa BMW to pick teh bikes up on Saturday morning. When you'll all got you bikes, we'll spend a couple of hours making sure everything is good and go for a local ride to get your eye in and I know some brilliant local roads. In fact my cousin James will probably lead the ride:thumb2

There is a great mexican restaurant over in Sebastopol I was going to take you all to on Sunday night after we've been down to the Golden Gate and ridden back up Hwy 1.

Bike's are now on their way to The Big Apple.

My insurance has gone through on the credit card - £317.39
Breakdown cover has also gone through - £20.67.

Check your dates!
Just got my documents through from Fernet and they have put the wrong dates on, covered me for August not September. Phoned them direct and they admitted they made a mistake, my application was put on wrong pile!
All sorted now sending new documents out tonight.
