Well done lads - I was going to make a smart-arse remark about not _actually getting to the top while that statue was in the way but I'll let it go. :D :D

Nuckin' Futs

As the owner of the AT in the pictures, I would just like to say that they do not do justice to the weather conditions on the mountain. The wind has pretty bad as well. My mate also had to remove his glasses so as he could see a bit better on the way down.
Might attempt it next time when I have a set of Conti's on

Don't Panic!

Well done to the lads :clap - mad as feckin' brushes ;) Having tried to send them in the wrong direction (visibility was so bad I didn't realise we were standing beside the right hand, rather than left hand, mast :o ) we eventually figured it out, I pointed them in the right direction for the summit and off they went. Myself, my 3 lads & Gunner walked part of the way up before deciding visibility was too bad to risk going further up and we were too wet to stand around waiting, so we headed back to the cars. With the heater on full we waited for about an hour before they returned with the photographic evidence (and big stupid grins on their faces :D )

innocent not

no rain since March 21st, sunshine, warm in the sun, unseasonable mild and warm for the time of year, until you lot decide to ride to the top of some mountain because some other tossers failed to get there last year, and now it hasn't stopped raining.
Well ye can't blame me this time, I was nowhere near the place.
Mad the lot of ya, stay away from the Joe lad, he'll only get you in trouble, don't ya know he's from Belfast, and sure they're all mad up there.

Gunner's sweater wasn't so clean by the end of the day.
It was a very good days fun, if the sun had been shining
it would have been too easy.:D

I'll tell ya one thing, the look on the Celts face when we got
to the top was worth the spin, he was well pleased with himself,
so was I. Yip, stupid grins alround. :D :D
