Hi just got a Zumo 660 and a Scala G4 from Handtec. You get 8% off if you buy them together.

Should I pair the Iphone with the headset or the zumo? Any advice on this? It seems that if you pair the phone with the headset you can get tunes directly to your headset and answer calls. However if you pair the phone with the Zumo the calls come up on the display and you can use the numbers etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

The Zumo is designed to be the hub and allows dual pairing of a phone and headset so that you can get both voice directions and phone calls. If you want music you can load it onto a Micro SD card, insert that in the GPS unit and it'll stream in A2DP stereo Bluetooth to your headset.

Obviously, if you want to stream music from your phone, you'd just pair the headset with the phone and forego the voice instructions from the Zumo.

I've got a 660 with an Iphone4 and the Scala/Schuberth SRC (similar to the G4).

I've paired the phone to the Zumo (as above) and play music via that. The problem(s) I have are that after a phone call it does not like to return to playing music and sometimes needs a restart.

That's not too bad, but my biggest problem is that if you pair it with a mate they tend to lock the comms and it will ignore even phone calls! :blast

It's probably a bluetooth handshake thing, but a right P.I.T.A :comfort
