Pannier question

Here we go , i have just got my self an 800gs (ooh and i love it ) i already have givi trekker cases their the 46lt ones ! My question is will the 46lt trekkers look to big anybody else got them fitted , pics etc , cheers

Horses for courses. If you need to carry that amount of gear then they'll do, if not downsize.

I've just down sized the GSA to a XT660R the panniers now look massive but with the amount of crap I carry I need them.

Yes i have an f800gs (came with no panniers or fittings) .

I have from my xt660z tenere a set of trekker panniers that i kept when i sold the bike .

I dont have a fitting kit yet ! So cant get an eye view of them on the bike

Cheers for the link , when i had my wee strom i had a 33lt trekker on the left and 46lt on the right to make it look even with having the exhaust on the left side when i got the tenere i sold the 33lt one and replaced it with a 46lt one they looked ok on the yamaha was thinking the same for the 800gs with the exhaust on the left aswell thats all

Makes more sense now! As far as I'm aware metal mule are the only ones who do a balanced set however you have to buy their slimline exhaust too... IIRC those volumes sound about right for non balanced setups. If it's not on that link I think somewhere on ADV someone has sat down and done a spreadsheet of all pannier widths on and off the rails
